Test Case Study

Supplied and installed fire-rated doors for a commercial building to improve fire safety, regulatory compliance, and building security.

About The Project

Project Details

This project involved a complete fire door upgrade programme for a multi-storey commercial building. Following an initial site survey, existing doors were assessed and non-compliant units were identified for replacement. The scope included the manufacture, supply, and installation of FD30 and FD60 fire-rated door sets, complete with certified frames, intumescent seals, smoke seals, hinges, locks, vision panels, and self-closing devices.

All installations were carried out in accordance with current fire safety standards and building regulations. The team coordinated works to minimise disruption to daily operations, ensuring safe access routes remained available throughout the project. Upon completion, every door underwent a detailed inspection and testing process, with certification and compliance documentation provided to the client.

Key Deliverables:

  • Comprehensive fire door inspection and assessment.
  • Supply and installation of certified FD30 and FD60 fire doors.
  • Installation of compliant ironmongery and fire-stopping components.
  • Replacement of damaged frames and door hardware.
  • Final testing, certification, and compliance reporting.
  • Project completed within schedule and budget requirements.
